Since our founding in 1980, the FANCL Group has grown as a group of companies that consistently provides solutions to social issues.
The spirit of our founding philosophy of working to eliminate the 'negatives' with a sense of justice - striving to eliminate negative elements like worry, inconvenience and dissatisfaction - has been carried on through to the present day.

In 2024, we entered a new stage of growth as part of the Kirin Group, which promotes a CSV management approach.
Kirin Group's CSV (Creating Shared Value) management focuses on generating both social and economic value, while pursuing sustainable growth alongside society—an approach that closely aligns with FANCL’s founding philosophy.

Guided by our founding philosophy, the FANCL Group will strive to address unmet needs in beauty and health, and by creating new markets and value, aims to lead the advancement of CSV across the Kirin Group.

We will also foster a corporate culture that resonates with society, as we work to contribute to a sustainable future.

FANCL Group CSV Purpose

Under our long-term management vision, FANCL Vision 2035 (FV2035), we aim to be the most trusted brand that addresses consumers' unmet needs in beauty and health, and be the fastest-growing brand marketing company. Among the non-financial targets set out in FV2035, our "CSV Purpose" serves as the guiding principle for co-creating value with society and achieving sustainable growth. Based on our Key Material Issues (Materiality) for sustainable growth, the CSV Purpose defines three priority themes:"Healthy Living," "A Thriving Society For All," and "A Prosperous Environment." We have also established specific targets under each theme and are working steadily toward their achievement. In addition, fundamental issues that form the foundation of corporate management, such as respect for human rights and the stable supply of products and services, have been organized as our "universal responsibilities as a corporation."
