Received an honorable mention in the Best Customer Support of the Year awards (September 24, 2020)

At an award ceremony at the 23rd Customer Support Symposium hosted by the Japan Institute of Information Technology on September 24, 2020, FANCL received an honorable mention in the Mail-Order Administration Category for efforts to revolutionize fulfillment and improve the quality of customer service by streamlining back-office tasks related to mail-order ordering, delivery, payment, and return processes by 50%.

The Best Customer Support of the Year initiative recognizes companies and organizations that have produced excellent results from creative and innovative initiatives such as improving customer satisfaction and realizing contributions to business through customer support. The honorable mention was awarded in recognition of efforts at FANCL that included the attentive handling of mail-order purchases, the use of AI and IT to significantly streamline operations, and our ability to keep deliveries on schedule following the declaration of a state of emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in April and May, when many customers switched to mail-order as a non-contact shopping method.

We will continue to innovate our business in order to provide services that bring joy to and fulfill the needs of many people.

FANCL awarded the "Accessible Design Packaging Award" for its "BEAUTY BOUQUET" series (August 30, 2017)

The "BEAUTY BOUQUET" series launched by FANCL in October 2016 was awarded the "Accessible Design Packaging Award*2" in the "Japan Packaging Contest 2017*1".
The containers used for this product were created through a process of repeated trial an error under the supervision of the "JITSUKEN User Research Institute" to resolve difficulties in seeing and using the product in consideration of changes in grip strength and vision with age. The product features a cap designed to prevent dropping when held in the hand and a pump that can be easily pushed with a small amount of pressure, a container developed to "eliminate the negatives" in accordance with FANCL's corporate philosophy.
Many customers who used the product expressed their delight, commenting "I was so impressed to see that the products were numbered from 1 to 4, the order in which they are to be used" and "It is easy to know how much of the product to use per use, since both the lotion and gel use a pump".

■2013

"BC NIGHT INTENSIVE CREAM" awarded the "Technical Packaging Award" (August 27, 2013)

On August 27, 2013, FANCL was awarded the "Technical Packaging Award in the Japan Packaging Contest. A sealed container with a dial is used for the "BC NIGHT INTENSIVE CREAM". When the lid is removed and the dial on the top of the container is turned, the cream comes out of the center of the top surface, ensuring that the product can be entirely used in a hygienic matter without being exposed to the outside air.

Customer Service

In order to ensure the happiness of our customers, FANCL offers training with a focus on "further quality enhancement" for phone inquiries and "customer service skills that are close to customers. The respective training initiatives have led to detailed, refined customer service, which has been recognized by external parties.
