Addressing specific health challenges faced by women through products
Tackling iron deficiency
Japanese people have a tendency to suffer from iron deficiency and it is said that a large number of women in particular lack iron as a result of the menstrual cycle.
Also, as iron is an important constituent for producing blood, it is a nutrient that should be actively provided to help children to grow.
We provide products that enable consumers to sustain their iron intake with peace of mind, including Iron & Folic Acid, which is recommended as an easy way to increase iron intake, Iron for Parent and Child, which is an easy way for both parents and children to supplement iron, and Mama Lula Folic Acid & Iron Plus, which is recommended for pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers.

Changes in hormone balance with age
Estrogen is a hormone that plays an important role in maintaining health throughout a woman's entire body, affecting things including the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, bones, lipids, and blood vessels. It is a decrease in estrogen secretion volumes that leads to menopause. Menopause is often accompanied by physical or mental unease or discomfort, which can vary from person to person.
We offer products that help women stay healthy in body and spirit, including Concentrated Soy Isoflavones Lactic Acid Bacteria Plus, which contains highly absorbable soy isaflavones, plant-based lactic acid bacteria, oligosaccharides, and coenzyme Q10. Another product, Bone Support, was designed to help adult women to maintain healthy bones, especially as they reach the age of around 50, when bone mass begins to decline.

ME-BYO Style Ambassador
Kanagawa prefecture is working to encourage as many women as possible to make improvements to their lifestyles based on ME-BYO (a health support concept focused on preventative care) by disseminating information on "ME-BYO style" with companies and individuals through social media and by holding events in collaboration with companies and local municipalities.
In the fiscal year ended March 2024, we started acting as a corporate ambassador for the initiative through activities such as holding seminars for women approaching the menopausal stage in which we work with them on how to approach changes in hormone balance. Currently, the entire Fancl Group is promoting the "FANCL Menopause Action" to help all those going through menopause to live healthy and fullfilling lives.

Providing nurseries and preschools with iron, an essential nutrient for women and children
Iron is extremely important for growing children. It is not only a building block for blood, but also essential for the growth of brains and bodies.
In order to support the healthy growth of children by ensuring a proper intake of the iron needed for their development, in March 2024, we provided 78 nurseries and preschools within the Tokyo Metropolitan Area with 10,000 free packs of Iron for Parent and Child, a product that makes it easy for both parents and children to supplement their iron intake.
