Survey of Business Partners

Under the basic philosophy of coexistence and mutual prosperity with our trading partners, and maintenance of fair and appropriate transactional relationships, the Internal Audit Office in the division that reports directly to the President monitors the state of compliance with laws and regulations such as the Basic Purchasing Policy and Subcontracting Act, through annual surveys of our business partners. These surveys began in 2004. In the fiscal year ended March 2023 (the 19th survey), links to our web-based questionnaire were emailed to 583 business partners. We received replies from 521 companies.
Opinions given in the questionnaire are reported directly to our President on condition of confidentiality after reconfirmation with the business partner. Issues that require improvement are investigated by the Internal Audit Office, after which improvements and corrections are made in collaboration with the relevant departments.
