Human Rights Due Diligence

In order to fulfill our responsibility of respecting the human rights of individuals across our supply chain, we have established human rights considerations in our supply chain in the FANCL Group Sustainable Procurement Policy and Trading Partner (Supplier) Guidelines.
In accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, we have established a human rights risk response mechanism to identify, prevent and mitigate the negative human rights impacts of FANCL Group on society. We notify potential new suppliers of our Trading Partner (Supplier) Guidelines in advance and obtain their prior consent to comply with the guidelines before commencing business with them.
We have also set up a Helpline to receive complaints and reports from suppliers, and we strive to develop and maintain fair and equitable business relationships with our suppliers.

Mutual prosperity and coexistence with our trading partners

In our daily communications and our discussions on trade conditions, we strive to respect the human rights of our trading partners. As an example, we ask our direct trading partners to consider delivery dates and schedules while taking into account the working hours and holidays of the other parties with whom they do business.
We will continue to engage in dialogue with our trading partners to promote a commitment to "human rights" through our business dealings with them.
